I loved the unique charm of the room and the cozy bed, and it was a nice surprise to have a shower and hairdryers available.

The location was excellent and unbeatable, just off a quick ride down to bourbon street and public transport and many eateries. The room was nicely updated, had exceptionally comfortable and included a microwave, coffee/tea makers, and a fridge. The employees were amicable and accommodating.

Convenient location just steps away from the lively French Quarter area and another trolley stop. It's also only a 15-minute walk to the charming Garden District. 🚋

My guest and I enjoyed the free parking, accommodations, cleanliness of the room, maid service when absent from our room , the age requirement (no one under 21) and finally the serenity of staying at this inn. We have absolutely zero complaints! Awesome, romantic, secluded & cozy hideaway in New Orleans. Staying at the inn was the best choice we made. We would definitely recommend this place to couples looking to enjoy New Orleans by day & peace by night.
Incidentals are required to be charged to a major credit card w/o the option to pay cash. The accommodations can; however, be paid by cash; but, suprisingly incidentals can not; although, we were informed otherwise before arriving at the inn. Breakfast could be more inviting with a full list of hot selections to choose from other than the limited selection of cold, continental choices offered.

Perfect location in the Garden District; clean, continental breakfast was good, well-done rooms in old mansions. We had a room in the front of the building and had no problems with noise.

Had an exceptional experience here. This little gem of a hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, making it a quiet retreat. the breakfast selection is fantastic with delicious goodies to choose from. 🌟

Everything. It's a house between beautiful other houses in the Garden District. Not so busy, doesn't look like a hotel so you really feel in between the locals, welcome and at home. The rooms are very clean, good looking with old high ceilings and fresh colors. Big bathroom with a very good shower. Friendly staff. In 5 minutes you're on Bourbon St. With the local bus for only 5 dollars (for 4 persons!) And your car is safely parked for free. I will never forget this hotel, would recommend it to everybody! And while you're there? Take a look at James Cheese Company in the same street... Best cheese and sandwiches ever!
Breakfast. I understand it's not a big deal for the hotel, cause you are in the middle of the city and not far from all the restaurants. But still, it's nice to have at least something in the morning before you go... It was a little bit poor....

This hotel provides an excellent value for the money. The rooms are really nice (even nicer than on the website), the location in the Garden District is good, the streetcar stop for the St. Charles line is just one block away. This makes The Prytania Oaks in my view a much better choice than one of the boring regular hotel chains.
